This hotel boasts one of the most exceptional locations in Cairo, offering breathtaking views of the pyramids directly from the guest rooms. The breakfast served by the hotel was outstanding, ranking among the finest I have experienced in recent times. The front office staff were incredibly accommodating, promptly and willingly fulfilling all of my requests. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel with a perfect 5 out of 5 rating for its exceptional service, excellent value for money, and unbeatable location
The view from specific rooms and the breakfast spot is stunning. The rooms are clean and spacious, with aircon, fridge, kettle, WiFi and clean upgraded bathrooms. Clean sheets and towels always available with daily cleaning. The staff are so friendly and always looking out for our wellbeing and ensuring they could go the extra mile for a comfortable stay. Not anything to dislike but just points for travelers to note: there is no lift but there’s always someone to help with bags. The area is a bit of a mission, especially with road works at present, but it’s right near the pyramids and new museum and we were still able to safely walk in the area!
Lovely clean room with a great rooftop view of the pyramid, where they will feed you a huge Egyptian breakfast. Mohammed the owner genuine and very nice. We went on a tour with another staff member Osama, he is also a very nice guy and a good tour guide at a very reasonable price for a full day with our own tour guide and private taxi. We had a great short stay in Giza with them.
The owner Mohammed is very helpful. Osama is also very knowledgeable. They both guided me to the do s and don’t s in Cairo which was very helpful. Staff is 5 star, acco is 5 star, views are 10,00,000 stars :)You pay nearly 600 USD per night at Marriott Mena House. At under 50 USD You get better views from Maria Pyramids House. It’s next to Mena House.Superb , just superb accommodation. Not a challenge for me, but older clients may face a problem with the 3rd floor and no lift. But the owner and the staff offered to carry the luggage. As they were elder to me I Refused. So it is not really a problem but a point to note. It’s totally worth it!!!
Fantastic location looking straight at the Pyramids of Giza. Mohamed was a great host!! Would highly recommend!Nothing negative to say. Lovely, comfortable and also very affordable stay.
We had an incredible stay at Maria Pyramids hotel. Mohamed and his team looked after us and helped us to make the most of our trip to Giza. The hotel is the top two floors of a local apartment block over looking the pyramids. We had a pyramid view from our balcony and every morning we had breakfast over looking the Giza plateau. The breakfast was sensational. Far more than we could eat, with coffee and cakes, local dishes, omelette and yoghurts and cheeses. You can walk into the Giza plateau very easily from the hotel if you don’t want to take a tour. We spent three days here and did both. A full day tour to Saqarra and Memphis and the Pyramids one day and the next day pyramids ourselves. Both were fabulous and our guide Ahmed was incredibly knowledgeable. All this was arranged for us by Mohammed who also kindly took us to explore the New Egyptian Museum which isn’t far from where the hotel was located. I would really recommend the hotel and what I loved about it was that rather than a massive chain hotel you got to stay and experience genuine Egyptian hospitality and kindness. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Thank you.
Firstly, I was given a welcome drink and lovely fruit platter that hit the spot! The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful! The signage is a little unclear out front once you walk through the doors I wasn't sure where to go after that. Make sure you walk down the entire length of the lobby area, which is just two chairs, to the huge wall mirror, turn left, and then you walk to the top of all the sets of the steps. The LOCATION is phenomenal - next to the entrance to the Pyramids. This is the safer, less scammy entrance than the one near the Spinx. Look for reviews for the entrance on google maps. Lastly, their rooftop was cute with Pyramid views and they assisted with my luggage both up and down the steps. Essentially, you're as close to the Pyramids as the Marriott but with better pricing, better hospitality, and more welcoming. Wifi was strong. Safe for valuables. Bed was comfy! Heat worked great (was there in winter) so I'm sure the AC is just as strong. How long the dinner took - which was actually coming from the restaurant next door - and is not made on site. That said, they fought to get me my food and it was fantastic tasting once I had it!
a very nice place to stay, clean and cozy, good location with the view of pyramids through the room window. very friendly and helpfull staff!
I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Maria Pyramids House! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was incredible. Owner Mohamed and tour guide Osama were both incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. The view from the property is unbeatable—you’re literally looking out at the Pyramids, and it’s breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, home-cooked meals that felt like you were enjoying food made with care and love.Great value and better views compared to places like the Marriott or Hilton, for a fraction of what you'd pay there. The attention and personal care you get from Mohamed and Osama are unparalleled. They really made the experience unique, with genuine conversations and insights into local culture and life. The tour to Saqqara was also amazing. Osama's knowledge of the area and the history made everything come to life in a way I couldn’t have experienced on my own. It’s so important to have someone who knows the city and its etiquette, and Osama and Mohamed made sure I was taken care of every step of the way. They also gave great tips and advice for anything I needed during my time in Cairo. If you’re looking for an authentic, unforgettable experience with unbeatable service, Maria Pyramids House is the place to stay. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Excellent location and walking distance from the pyramid. You can see the pyramid from the room. Staffs are nice. Room is nicely decorated.
